Louis William Tomazic
Born May 4, 1923. Passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the age of 85. Lifelong resident of Joliet, IL. Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and being awarded the Purple Heart. Retired in November 1988 after 30 years of service as a manager of Berry Bearing Company. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years Delores M. (nee Glavan) Tomazic; one son Mark Tomazic and one sister Carolyn Tomazic-Engers. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his son David and parents Louis and Mary (nee Brezovar) Tomazic.
A Chapel Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM
