Louis P. Egizio

Passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Joliet Area Community Hospice at 80 years old.

Louis is survived by his loving daughters, Michelle Young and Charlene (Shawn) Murray; grandchildren, Michael (Christine) Young, Meghan (Christopher) Young, Kimberly Murray and Dylan Murray; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Egizio; parents, Matt and Lucille Egizio; brothers, Armand, Guido, Joseph and Gene Egizio; and his ex-wife Sandra Egizio (nee Kinzler).

Louis was proud of his work for P&D and Empress Casino, which he did for many years.

Louis’ family would like to thank his granddaughter, Meghan for all her love, hard work and dedication in taking care of her grandfather.

Per Louis’ wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Louis will be laid to rest with his family in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Romeoville and a Private Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
