Lorraine Ann (Lorek) Jaskowiak

Lorraine A. Jaskowiak, age 92, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Marcia Groves; grandchildren, Christopher Groves and Alicia (Roland) Faulhaber; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Nathan and Madalyn Faulhaber; sisters-in-law, Mary Jean (the late Robert) Jaskowiak and Patricia (the late Gerald) Jaskowiak; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Andrew; daughter, Kathleen; parents, Joseph and Sophie Lorek; brothers, Stanley (Alice) Lorek, Matthew (Frances) Lorek and Bruno Lorek; and one sister, Wanda (Bill) Haake.

Lorraine loved to do ceramics and was quite the detailed artist. She loved to play bingo and bunco with her Willow Falls friends. She was a lifetime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Joliet.

Lorraine worked at Joliet Catholic Academy, St. Francis Academy and St. Joseph Hospital for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will begin on Friday, July 23, 2021 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
