Lorraine A. Mann (nee Dutko)
November 25, 1941 — January 8, 2008
Age 66. Born November 25, 1941. Daughter of the late Albert and Ann (nee Sowa) Dutko. Passed away on January 8, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by family and friends at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Resident of Joliet and formerly of the Las Vegas area for ten years. Retired from Silver Cross Hospital after 17 years of service.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Gerald Mann and her parents.
Lorraine was the loving mother of two sons, David (Grace nee McGee) of Joliet, IL. and Doug (Kelly nee Hibler) of Kennesaw, GA. Proud grandmother of Dave Mann of Joliet and Alex Mann of Kennesaw, GA. The light of her life was great-grandson Ryan Mann. Ryan affectionately had named Lorraine his "Boom-Boom" and Ryan"s mother Krystal Pollard. Also survived by sister Marilyn (Donald) Kurbis and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Lorraine"s dedicated, loving and caring friends for all of their help and support during this time. Especially Lorraines longtime friends Jean Hank and Nancy Richie.
