Loretta Kobe Nee Ladich Age 94

At rest Thursday February 18, 2010 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Survived by her son James (Marianne) Kobe Sr., dearest grandmother of James (Christine) Kobe Jr. and Jane Kobe, one great grandchild Kyle Kobe, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Mary (nee Novak) Ladich. Loretta was born in Joliet and resided in Crest Hill for forty five years before retuning to Joliet. She operated Kobe"s lunch room and store in Crest Hill with partner and Sister-in-law Frances Kobe for forty two years. Mother to many children from Chaney and Monge Schools and active in the City of Crest Hill. After retiring became active as a foster grand parent for fifteen years. Worked in Mary Crest and Pershing Schools with physically and handicap children, and was on the F.G program board for six years. Honored at the Chaney and Monge School 80th Anniversary for work with children in Crest hill. Member of the Rosarian Club and St. Joseph Senior Parishioners. A special thank you to the staff of Sunny Hill and Hospice for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers contributions to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Sunny Hill Nursing Home.

Services will be held Monday from the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery Visitation Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
