Loretta M. Brncich

Loretta M. “Lorry” Brncich (nee Princko), passed away at the age of 92 on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born on July 25, 1925 to George and Anna (Adams) Princko. She was married to Anton Brncich on November 29, 1947, who preceded her in death on January 21, 1994. Surviving is her loving family who were responsible for her cancer care giving her several more quality years with them. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (fiancé William Soraghan) Pavlich; three sons, James (Dolores Liker), Robert (Pam Schaefer) and Anton (Joan Kehlenbach) Brncich.

Also surviving are seven special grandchildren to whom she hopes she has made a difference in their lives, Dawn “Danica” (Daniel) Gallegos, Adam (Julie Rodgers) Brncich, Aaron (Lisa Kuta) Brncich, Brett and Breena Brncich, Kevin and Katelyn Brncich; great-granddaughters, Delaney Marie and Darci Elizabeth Gallegos and Melina Marie Brncich; great-grandsons, Tristan, Brayden and Colton Brncich and their baby sister due in August; several nieces and nephews; extra special sister-in-law, Frances (Gerty) Brencich; and family who have been with her through all phases of her life.

Other dedicated people were Shirley Liker, Jane Davy, Andy Pavlich, Alex Abramovich, Ron Setina and Don Koren.

Loretta worked for Kahn and Brown Realtors and the EJ&E Railroad. She was a member of the VFW Post #367 Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Altamonte Springs Florida Women’s Auxiliary. Her greatest joy was helping people and doing crafts for handicap and cancer charities. She was proud of having mastered the computer at the age of 80.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, George (Sox) 1983; 4 sisters, Ann (Wm) Jurevich 1991, Dolores (Grassle-Bebar) 2007, Helen Smith 2013 and Lucille (Fred) Shepich 2015.

Loretta’s family was her life and she reminded them always how much she loved them. She never gave up because there was always something she had to live for; whether it was a graduation, a wedding, a new baby, or a 1st communion.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Spyro Analytis, Dr. Sanjiv Modi, Dr. Burhani and Dr. Peter Roumeliotis who were always there for her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta’s name to Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated.

A celebration of Loretta’s life was held privately per her wishes. She was laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Crest Hill.
