Loren E. Chester Sr.
Age 81. At rest on February 19, 2008 at his late residence. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Helen (nee Blazekovich) Chester; daughter Kathleen (Rick) Wellner; grandchildren Kevin (Amber) and Eric Chester, Zachary and Nathan Wellner; great-grandchildren Matthew and Hannah Chester; brother Joseph (Mary) Chester. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; sons Loren E. (Carol) Jr. and Gregory (Karen) Chester; sister Lorraine (the late Jim) David. Retired from IBEW Local #176 after 35 years of service. Loren was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He served on the USS Bon Homme Richard. In lieu of flowers donations in Loren"s name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 11 AM. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9-11 AM.
