Lorain R. Sirovatka (nee Stalmach) of Plainfield, age 89, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
Lorain is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Victoria (nee Stock) Stalmach; brothers, Chester (Virginia) and Eugene (Aurelia) Stalmach.
Lorain retired from the Sears Legal Department and was a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, a member of the Catholic Women’s Clubs of St. Raymond, St. Odilo of Berwyn, St. Casimir of Chicago, and the Polish Women’s Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorain’s name to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Lorain’s life will begin on Friday, April 8, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road.
