Lois I. Noble (nee Legan), age 78, at rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 with her loving family by her side.
Lois is survived by her loving son, Dana (Robin) Noble; three grandchildren, Leah, Cade and Molly Noble; siblings, Rosemarie (the late Raymond) Novak, Pat (the late Gerald) Jaskowiak, Ernest (Ruby) Legan, Judy Legan, Joni (Steve) Clyatt and Tom (Theresa) Legan; brother-in-law, Ron (the late Nancy)Thorndyke; sister-in-law, Sally (the late John) Noble; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Noble (1994); son, Paul Noble (1993); parents, Louis J. and Stella (nee Slapnicar) Legan; brother, James Legan; and Sister Nancy Thorndyke.
Lois was born and raised in Joliet and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She attended St. Joseph grade school, graduated from St. Francis Academy and graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. After graduation, Lois went on to become a nurse at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. She retired after over 20 years of service.
In lieu of flower donations in Lois' name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N. Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432 would be appreciated.
A celebration of Lois' life will begin on Saturday, November 29, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
