Lois A. Hennings

Lois A. Hennings (nee Fandak), age 75, entered into eternal life on Sunday, October 30, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, James N. Hennings; loving daughters, Anne (Michael) Murray and Lynn (Chester) Wartenberg; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Crisostomo and Lindsey (Doug) Donaway, Angela (Adam Gerencher), Laura (Serafin Rodriguez), Gina (Scott Reyes), David, and Christina Wartenberg; cherished great-grandchildren, Jacelyn, McKenzie, and Noah, John Thomas, Luci, and Lily Lynn; dear cousin, Elaine York; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Anne (nee Verbic) Fandak.
Lois was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She enjoyed baking and was noted for her delicious apple strudel. She loved all types of animals. Most of all, Lois was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother and great-grandmother.

A Celebration of Lois’ life will begin on Thursday, November 3, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday November 2 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
