Linda D. Martin

Linda Diane Martin, 66, of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her residence on April 19, 2019. She was born September 17, 1952 in Glasgow, KY to the late Jesse and Cecil (Pedigo) Dubree. Linda was also preceded in death by one brother.

She loved giving to others, taking care of her family and friends, and supporting numerous charities that were dear to her heart. Linda enjoyed traveling, reading and listening to music, especially Bon Jovi. Her favorite times were spent with her loving husband, children, grandchildren and dogs. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Ernest D. Martin; five children, Gary Belt and wife Tanya of Paxton, IL, Debi Donze and husband Josh of Pontiac, IL, David Belt and Randi Spiess of Piper City, IL, Jill Bennet and husband Billy of Scottsboro, AL, Donna Martin of Joliet, IL; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Per Linda’s wishes a graveside service will be held in Kentucky at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
