Lillian G. Brulc, age 88, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Salem Village Nursing Home.
Survived by one sister Lucille (William) Dragovan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Louis J. and Mary (nee Puschnik) Brulc; three brothers Louis (Angeline) Brulc, Joseph (Nora) Brulc and Frank (Mary) Brulc; three sisters Mary (Guido) Piunti, Eleanor (Joseph) Gregorec and Frieda (Geno) Baldazzi.
Lillian was a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago and The University of Chicago. She was a member of KSKJ and the Slovenian WomanA�??s Union. Lillian was well known for her art work. Some of her many works include murals at St. Joseph Church in Joliet and at St. Elizabeth Seton in Naperville, a sculpture at the Joliet Synagogue and also murals she painted for the city of Joliet. In lieu of flowers, donations in LillianA�??s name to St. Joseph Church Museum would be appreciated.
A Celebration of LillianA�??s life will begin on Monday, November 19, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet.
