Age 72, at rest Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Loving father of Thomas, Charles (Betsy), Robert, Catherine (late Robert) Gura, Leonard T. (Sandy) Link III, Paul (Kathy), Nancy, Janice Siegel, John (Lisa), and Elaine (Charles) Pool. Dearest grandfather of Starrlene (Chris), Heather (Marv), Shane, Joshua, Melissa, Kylie, Sara, Logan, Jericho, Jack, Thomas, Michael, Matthew, Jerry Noah and Abigail; and four great grandchildren, Brianna, Cody, Mia and Hannah. Loving sister, Mary 'Betty' Persico three sister's-in-law Adeline (late James), Lois (late LeRoy) McMillin, Catherine 'Kay' (late Raymond) Miner; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his beloved wife of 48 years, Sara (nee McMillin) Link; parents, Leonard T. Sr. and Elizabeth A. (nee Kinsella) Link. Leonard was born in Joliet and was a life long resident. Retired in 2005 as a Master Mechanic from PT Ferro, was a Trustee for the Teamsters Local 179. Member of the Will Grundy Central Trades and a life member of the St. Joseph Rockdale Holy Name Society. He will be dearly missed by all who new him.
