Leona J. Terdic
January 1, 1944 — November 26, 2015
Leona J. Terdic (nee Massey), age 71, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with COPD on Thursday, November 26, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
Leona is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard Terdic; children, Daniel (Jean) Terdic and Linda (Donald) Flaynik; grandchildren, Vanessa and Johnathon; great-granddaughter, Cheyenne; brother, Rollin (Sonia) Massey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her children, Richard J. Terdic (1987) and Diane J. Evans (2004); grandson, Joshua Terdic (2009); parents, Rollin and Linda (nee Smith) Massey.
Leona was dedicated employee for Johnson & Johnson Personal Products in Wilmington for 25 years. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Leona’s strong faith gave her joy and brought her peace. She will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Leona’s life will begin on Monday, November 30, 2015 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Joliet.
