Age 83. At rest Sunday, May 14, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Lillian M. (nee Ancel) Randich. Loving father of: Larry (Jess Ann), Keith (Kim) and Mick (Norman Mackenzie) Randich. Dearest grandfather of Elizabeth, Anthony and Melissa Randich; three sisters, Dorothy (Norm) Stoiber, Eleanor Carlson and Patricia (John) Skoog; four brothers, Edward (late Ann), John (Carol), James (Linda) and Donald (Bette) Randich; a brother-in-law, Albert (late Marian) Wason. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Patricia (nee Wicevic) Randich; two sisters, Marian Wason and Irene (William) Glad; a brother, Robert Randich (in infancy). Larry was born in Crest Hill, and has been a life long resident. He was a carpenter for 50 years and retired from the Illinois Youth Commission after 7 years. Larry served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, then he enlisted in the United States Army during World War II. Larry was a member of the American Legion Post #1080, the Joliet Elks, the Croatian Culture Club, and the Joliet Rivals. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Ambrose Church Building Fund, in his name, would be appreciated. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Crest Hill, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
