Larry J. Raspolich, age 60, passed away at home peacefully with his closest family by his side. Preceded in death by his loving parents Rudy Sr. and Bev Raspolich.
Survived by his eight siblings, Rudy Jr. (Cheryl), Rodney (Karen), Scott (Alice), Debbie (Rick) Swalina, Bill Sr, Mary Sue (Steve) Pullara, Kim (Mike) Bertino, Michelle (Jason) Nurczyk; sister-in-law, Kathy; dear aunt, Darra Glavan; numerous cousins; 24 nieces and nephews; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Joliet Catholic Highschool class of 1981. Larry spent time living in Telluride, CO and Clearwater, FL. He moved back home to be near family and was a longtime painter in the Joliet area, where he created bonds with many of his clients. Larry was known as the family historian and was an amazing storyteller. He greatly enjoyed watching Jeopardy with his beloved nephew Bill Jr. and cousin Lou Jr. Larry found the most joy in spending time with his large family over the years at all the special celebrations.
A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Tezak Funeral Home,1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
