Kevin Lee Smith, age 58, at rest on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 with his loving family by his side.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 18 years, Pamela (nee Wilke) Smith; children, Jaime (Rick Zwart) McGuffage and Jennifer (Michael) Courtright; grandchildren, Paige, Avery, Logan, Kristopher, Kaley and Konnor; parents, Bryan and Lou Ann Smith; siblings, Kelly (Brenda) Smith, Kim Smith and Kraig (Pam Bertucci) Smith; nieces and nephews, Bryna, Kylie, Lukas and Bodhi.

Kevin was a proud member of the Electricians Union Local #176 for over 40 years. He was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Black Hawks, the Chicago Bears and all college basketball and football. Kevin enjoyed vacation with his wife and being out in the sun and at the pool.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet with a memorial visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Per Kevin’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements entrusted to: Genuine Care Cremation.
