Kenneth “Kenny” Walczynski

Age 61 of Ottawa, passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at his home with his loving wife Victoria, by his side.

Kenny was born on January 7, 1963 in Harvey, Illinois, and married his best friend, Victoria Marzano on October 3, 1987.  

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents: Carol & Mike Walczynski, and his beloved puppy: Chester.   Kenny is survived by his wife: Victoria; sister: Karen (Wayne) Ruder of Ottawa; brother: Tim (Angie) Walczynski of Lowell, and his nieces and nephews: Elizabeth (Michael), Dean (Clarise), Grant, Emma, and Evelyn.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law: Flo (Jordan) Marzano; brother-in-law: Mark (Julie) Marzano, and sisters-in-law: Chris (Larry) Brown and Kim (Jim) Devona.

Kenny will be missed by his family and is leaving behind countless cherished memories.   He was a great storyteller, and loved by everyone he had the pleasure of meeting.  Kenny had a kind heart, was a truck driver for many years, and enjoyed the simpler life.   Kenny loved the outdoors, music and being around his family and friends, but most of all loved spending time with his best friend and wife. Kenny loved to cook, race remote cars, and was an avid gardener and chicken farmer.

Per Kenny’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Kenny’s memory to the family for their distribution.
