Kenneth T. Lockwood

Kenneth T. Lockwood, born July 30, 1940, passed away on March 13, 2024. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Hildegarde and Kenneth T. Lockwood Sr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters Christine (John) Jagodzinski and Victoria (Ian) Allan; grandchildren Rachel (Matt), Logan (Becky), Nick (Gaby), Emma (Spencer), and Joseph; great-grandchildren Calvin and Harper; sister Diane (Matt) Jandura; brothers-in-law Laurence (Joan) Chapman and Lee (Bob Green) Chapman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenny was the proud owner of Kenny's Fruits and Vegetables, where he served the community with fresh produce and a smile. Previously he worked for Honiotes Bros. and left a lasting impact wherever he went. He and his wife were parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet and Kenny was a long-time member of the St. Joseph Holy Name Society.

Soaring in hot air balloons, cheering his favorite sports teams, or testing cookie recipes, he embraced life with enthusiasm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny’s name to Lightways Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
