Keith Edward Stawick
Age 71 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Amita Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born August 23, 1949 in Pontiac, Keith was a son of Glen and Virginia (Filson) Stawick. He was raised and educated in Joliet and graduated from Joliet West High School with the class of 1967. Following graduation, Keith proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. After his time in the service, Keith attended Lewis University and earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He devoted his entire career to sales and sales management.
In 1976 Keith married his true love, Cynthia Horton and together they made their home and raised their two boys in Joliet. In his free time, Keith enjoyed working on cars, listening to political news radio, going fishing and taking his family camping. He also enjoyed traveling when time allowed. Keith was also an avid Chicago sports fan. It didn’t matter what the sport was, he enjoyed rooting for the team. It would also be fair to say he really enjoyed rooting for his beloved Chicago Cubs. Keith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Keith is survived by his two sons: Glenn E. Stawick (Elizabeth McGaffee) and Christopher G. Stawick; granddaughters: Lily M. Jensen and Isabelle M. Stawick; brother: Larry (Marsha) Stawick as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
