Kathy Schargorodsky, 55, of Channahon, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2011.
Loving sister of Valentina (Richard) Robinette of Channahon, Alex (Shirley) Schargorodsky of Pennsylvania, and Rachel (Michael) Hinshaw of Arkansas; sister-in-law of Linda Schargorodsky of Joliet; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Maria and Michael Schargorodsky and her brother Tony Schargorodsky.
Kathy worked at Sony Music in Bolingbrook for 17 years. She was devoted to her dog Winnie and frequented the Shorewood dog park. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed by her friends, family and Winnie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Will County Humane Society.
A celebration of Kathy"s life will begin on Saturday, June 4 at 10:30 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 to 8 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435.
