Kathryn I. Ludwig

Kathryn I. Ludwig "Kay," age 82, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 29, 2014 with her loving family by her side.

Kathryn is survived by her seven children, William (Judy) Anderson, Linda (Henry) Soto, Richard Anderson, Patricia (Allen) Frankovich, Mary Ann Anderson, Judy (Carlos) Fournier, and Diane (Randy) Patience; 16 loving grandchildren. Numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ludwig; her parents, Pansy and Forrest; Robert and Juanita; one brother and two sisters.

Kathryn loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Kathryn really enjoyed her job at Martin's Campground in Joliet and was employed there for over 20 years. We have lost someone that we loved and cherished.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathryn's name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

A celebration of Kathryn's life will begin on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service to be held at 11:30 a.m. Celebrant Ken Plese officiating. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
