(nee Shields) ""Kay"" ""Sis"" Age 83, at rest Wednesday October 29,2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by her beloved husband of sixty six years Stephen G. Popovich, loving mother of Stephen R. (Kathy)Popovich and Kathy Harvish, dearest grandmother of Lynn(William) D"Amico, Eric Popovich, Jason Popovich, Christopher(Kim) Harvish, Stephanie(Dave)Hoffman, Khristy Maberry, Michael Fisher, Darrin(Allison)Fisher, twenty one great grandchildren, one sister Lillian(Raymond)Kezerle, one brother Raymond(Corky)Shields, one sister-in-law Mary Earleen(late John)Shields also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents John and Elizabeth(nee McGukin)Shields, infant sister Margaret Shields,
One brother John Shields, granddaughter Elizabeth Brick. Kathleen was born in Joliet and a life long resident . She was a member of St. Anne"s CCW and Cantigny Post Ladies Auxillary # 367.
From where prayer services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 9:30 AM to St. AnneCatholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be Friday, October 31 from 4 to 8 :PM.
