Kathleen J. Plese

Kathleen Jean Plese, ""Kathy"" age 55, late of Crest Hill, went to her heavenly home with her loving family by her side on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
She is survived by her son, Thomas E. Plese, grandson Donte" Plese, parents, Eileen (nee Cox) and Eugene F. Plese, sisters Karen A. Plese and Kim A. (Jeff) Hodges, fiancee Steve Benedict, nieces Kristen and Allison Hodges and nephew Cody Hodges, aunt and uncle John and Marilyn (nee Cox) Plese and aunt Phyllis (late Bernard) Benco, dearest best friend Debbie Couch, numerous cousins and her beloved pets, Tyson, Jocki, Avery and Sidney.
Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Julia Plese and Ann (late William) and step-grandfather John Samion.
She was previously employed by Dow Chemical. Kathy loved life, lived and laughed.
A Celebration of Kathy"s Life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, 3 ""A�?? 8 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
