Kathleen Marie (Morris) Luzbetak

Kathleen Marie Luzbetak (nee Morris), age 69, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 2, 2018.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Richard Luzbetak; children, Jeff (Angie) Luzbetak and Charlene (Paul) Abbinanti; grandchildren, Brody and Gavin Luzbetak; siblings, Ray (Ruth) Jankowski, Linda Anderson, Leonard (Edith) Jankowski, Maryanne (Cyril) Skole and Fr. James Michael Jankowski; numerous cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Geraldine (nee Ashley) Morris-Jankowski and Edward Jankowski; and brother, Philip Morris.

Kathy was a proud nana and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed visiting the casino with her husband and visiting her New Orleans Family. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet. Kathy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s name to Presence Cancer Care, 2614 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60436 would be appreciated.

The family invites relatives and friends to gather on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet for Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Per Kathy’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no funeral home visitation or service.
