Kathleen J. (Turk) Linsner

Kathleen J. Linsner (nee Turk), age 61, at rest on Friday, November 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, Paul F. Linsner; children, Brian Bernard and Heather (Patrick) Newell; step-children, Erik (Lisa) Linsner, Rebecca (Cliff) Sinks and Ryan (Sarah) Linsner; grandchildren, Joey Bernard, Giuliana Bernard, Christian Bernard, Chloe Bernard, Brian  Bernard Jr.; numerous step-grandchildren; sister, Pamela (Rick) Clementi; brother, Dan (Chris) Turk; special niece, Angela Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, Blase and Bernadette (nee Yackley) Turk.

Kathy was a Unit Clerk at Silver Cross Hospital. She graduated from St. Francis Academy and went on to obtain her Master’s Degree from National Lewis University. She was a Kindergarten teacher at Fairmont Grade School for 20 years. During her career and throughout her life, Mrs. Linsner touched the lives of countless children and adults. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s name to Fairmont School (Library) would be appreciated.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will begin on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Carl Wagner officiating. Per Kathy’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
