Justine M. Kastelec

Justine M. Kastelec, age 91, entered into eternal life on Sunday, November 8, 2015 with her loving family by her side.

Justine is survived by her three nephews, James Malone Jr., Patrick Malone, and Robert Malone; two nieces, Debra Wall (nee Kastelec) and Denise Mores (nee Kastelec); as well as several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ignac and Antonia (nee Planinsek) Kastelec; sister, Josephine (James, Sr.) Malone (nee Kastelec); and brother, Edward (Irene) Kastelec.

Justine retired from APSA where she worked as a civil servant for the United States goverment. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in Joliet and JTHS. She was a former member of Slovenian Women’s Union. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Justine enjoyed bowling and traveling with friends. She will be missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Justine’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Justine’s life will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2015 with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be NO services or visitation held at the funeral home.
