Died peacefully with her family at her side on November 22, 2008 at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home in Joliet.

June was born in Rockdale, IL on September 12, 1930 to James and Olive Bertucci.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary (Ward) Chittenden and Carol Jo (Richard) Stonich; one brother, James Bertucci, Jr; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Elsie Tatroe.

She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert L. Tatroe; four children, Carol (Hector) Cerrillo, Ernest ""Butch"" (Felicia) Tatroe, Linda (Jeff Pearson) Adams, Charlie (Mary) Tatroe; eleven grandchildren, Courtney (David) Meyer, Joe Cerrilo, Andrea Tatroe, Michael and Melissa Adams and Katie, Charlie, David, Tony, Steven and Laura Tatroe; three great-grandchildren, Olivia Meyer, Nathan Ditton and Star Cerrilo; sisters, Arlene ""Cookie"" Gooday; and two brothers, Bob (Maxine) Bertucci and George Bertucci

June resided in Rockdale for most of her life before moving to Braidwood two years ago. She worked for Syl's Restaurant for over 45 years, retiring in 2000.

Her husband's most avid supporter, she helped organize enumerable events for Rockdale Grade School Band when Herb was the director. She was also there to assist him with the Rockdale Fire Department and Rockdale School Board and she was past member of St. Joseph Church in Rockdale.

June was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life giving to her family.

Chapel services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 10:00 am, Father Danilo Soriano officiating.

Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8:00 pm.
