Judith R. Tezak
September 12, 1941 — July 17, 2013
Judith R. Tezak (nee Buffo), age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
Judith is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, William A�??BillA�?i�� Tezak; her two children Leslie (Tim) Padavic and Eric Tezak; two grandchildren Samantha and Hannah Padavic; one brother James (Sharon) Buffo; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Harriet (nee Belange) Buffo; and one sister Mary Kernosky.
Judy was a teacher for the Troy School District for 30 years. She spent her winters with her beloved husband in Highland Beach Florida. Judy enjoyed the beach and playing golf. JudyA�??s grandchildren were the light of her life and she will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations in JudyA�??s name may be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
A Celebration of JudithA�??s life will begin on Monday, July 22, 2013 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
