Judith (nee Stefanski) Kuriger, 71, of Plainfield, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 in Plainfield.
Judy was born in Joliet to Ed and Sophie Stefanski on October 23, 1951. She went to school at St. Francis Academy. She married Roy Kuriger on May 13, 1972 in Joliet. She worked as a CNA at Provena St. Joseph Hospital where she was highly acknowledged for her hard dedication of work. She was an avid Queen and country music fan. She took a lot of her free time shopping at Meijjer and Binny’s as well as finding the perfect candles to burn in her home.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Roy Kuriger and parents: Ed and Sophie Stefanski.
Judy is survived by her sons: Royko Kuriger (Kelly nee Haymes) and Sean Kuriger; sister: Mary Kaye Parini (Bob) and brother: Dan Stefanski (Stacey). She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Sean, Anthony, Hailey, Theresa, Chase, and Dominic Kuriger as well as her great-grandchildren: Taylen and Truly Brown. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be Wednesday June 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life located at 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday June 29, 2023 at Tezak’s with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL.
