Joyce E. Schoenekase
April 15, 1940 — July 13, 2012
Joyce E. Schoenekase, age 72, passed away July 13, 2012 with her family by her side at Provena St. Joseph medical Center. Joyce was born in Hannibal, Missouri and grew up in Hull, Illinois. Joyce was a retired school bus driver for Valley View School district for over 20 years. Joyce had a love for Cardinals and was a collector of Coffee mugs.
Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Norma (Nee Tooley) McCarrel.
Survived by her loving husband of over 50 years Thomas Schoenekase; Children Brian Parrish, John (Jodi) Schoenekase , Vincent Schoenekase and Susan Gonzalez; Grandchildren Brian Jr. Parrish , Brenden Parrish, Samantha (Mike), Tyler Parrish, Thomas John Melville, Kyle Schoenekase and Katie Gonzalez.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude's Children's Memorial Hospital, 4619 North Ravenswood Avenue #302, Chicago, IL. A Celebration of Joyce's Life will begin on Wednesday July 18 at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life with services starting at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday July 18th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment private.
