Joyce M. Kluk

Joyce M. Kluk (nee Kloc), age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024.  During the course of her lifetime she had been a resident of Chicago; Crest Hill; and Downers Grove, Illinois.

Joyce is survived by her sisters Aileen Blanchard of Augusta, Georgia, and Lorraine (Alan) Meacham of Burr Ridge, Illinois. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Frank and by their son, Michael. She was also predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Mae (nee Reks) Kloc, and by extended Kluk relations including father and mother-in-law John and Agnes (nee Surman) Kluk, and sisters and brothers-in-law John and Josephine Ludwikowski; Genevieve Kluk; Bruno and Helen Mordawski; George and Jean Wierdak; Edward and Lauretta Szmergalski; Raymond and Cecelia Szmergalski; Alex and Therese Bielaga; Lawrence and Marianne Wysocki; and James and Celestine Kimery.

Joyce was a member of the 1953 graduating class of the nursing school of Oak Park Hospital.  By profession and by innate capacity she spent her entire life caring for and about others.   All who loved her and benefited from her kindnesses and thoughtfulness are grateful for her long and well-lived life and rejoice in her reunion with her beloved husband and son. 

Services and internment at Resurrection Cemetery will be conducted privately.
