Born June 6, 1947in Joliet, IL, Joyce attended St. Francis Academy, graduating in 1965. She was a resident of Aurora, IL for the past 30 years.Joyce worked at APSA in Elwood, IL for seven years, and retired from the FAA, Aurora Center in 2002, where she worked as a computer operator for over 29 years. She was an avid reader, enjoying her retirement by attending the gym and yoga classes, and spending time with her many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Clara Dolosic.
Survived by one sister, Janice Conway; two brothers, Lawrence (Therese) Dolosic and twin brother, John (Kathleen) Dolosic; and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce's family is deeply grateful to the staff of Rosewood Care Center of Joliet, where Joyce received outstanding care and kindness, and Vitas Hospice Care for their support and understanding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Vitas Hospice Care in Joyce's name would be appreciated.
A memorial service honoring Joyce will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am - 11:00am, service starting at 11:00am.
