Joyce Dorothy Beaird

Age 86, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Park Pointe in Morris, IL. Joyce was born September 12, 1936, in Joliet, IL, where she attended school and began her career with the federal government at the Joliet Arsenal. Joyce also worked in Chicago and Rock Island. She was an animal lover who enjoyed traveling, reading, and the music of Celtic Thunder.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved mother: Catherine, and her brother: Wilber.

She is survived by her sister-in-law: Barbara (Conklin) Beaird; her nieces: Diane (George) Hohenwater, Debbie (Joe) Wright, Denise (Brian) McEvilly, and Dana Beaird, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

Joyce’s family is grateful for the care she received from the staff at Park Pointe and Lightways Hospice.

Per Joyce’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private service will be held at a later date.
