Josip M. Babic Age 79. At rest Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home. Survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Carmen (nee Balic) Babic; two brothers, Dujo (Ida) Babic and Marko (Mary) Babic. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Sime and Antonia (nee Masic) Babic; three sisters, Mary, Ivka, and Ana; and one brother, George Babic. Josip was born in Croatia and has resided in Joliet since 1964. Retired from Sheffield Steel. He was a member of the Croatian Culture Club and also an avid bowler.
