Josephine F. Toth

Age 84 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

Born July 3, 1936 in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, Josephine Francis was a daughter of Steven and Mary (Depto) Kaminsky. She retired from Amita Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet after twenty years of dedication with the house keeping department. Josephine was a devout Catholic her entire life. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, along with various card and dice games. Josephine’s most treasured times were always spent with her family and her constant companion, her cat Harley. Josephine will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Gloria (Charles) Jones, John (Karen) Toth, Linda Wilemon, Anna (Jon) Browning, Diane (Ken) Gierich, and Christine (Ronnie) Dewitt, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents: Steven and Mary, three sisters, two brothers; daughter: Donna, three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Per Josephine’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A private memorial service was held and she will be laid to rest at a later date.
