Josephine J. Nemcevic (Nee Tonkovic)
Age 82 at rest Friday August 11, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by her daughters, Joan Joy (Dennis Hray) Schank and Julienne (Dr. Eugene) Tanabe; two granddaughters, Hilary and Hannah Tanabe; two special great-grand-children, Haley and Jacob; her sister, Helen (Joseph) D'Atri; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nemcevic; parents, Frank and Matilda (nee Zapundich) Tonkovic; brothers, John (Marjorie), Joseph (Agnes), George and Frank; sister, Elsie (Walters) Matheis. Josephine was born in Joliet and a life long resident. She retired from St. Joseph Medical Center as a Nurses Aid after 30 years of service. Josephine was also a member of the JoAnites.
