Josephine ""Josie"" M. Janes nee Malnar, age 91, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side.
Survived by 3 sons, Joseph of Dunedin, FL, Donald (Patsy) of Lockport, IL and John of Joliet, IL. 4 Grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a sister Annie Wicevic. Numerous nieces and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years John S. Janes; her parents Joseph and Maria (nee Wicevic) Malnar, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services for Josephine M. Janes will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 10 am at the funeral home. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum in Romeoville. Visitation Wednesday 1-6 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL 60435.
