Joseph F. Uremovic ""Joe"" Age 83 years, late of Illinois Veteran's Home, Manteno, IL, died Sunday, December 25, 2005. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosemary (nee Horvath); and his parents, Anthony and Mary (Hartel) Uremovic; a brother, Donald Uremovic of Rockdale, IL. Survived by a brother, Martin (late Mae) Uremovic of Joliet; two daughters, Marilyn (Darrell) Sloniker of kalamazoo, MI, Lynn (Gene) Snyder of New Lenox, IL; grandsons, Scott (Kara) Sloniker and their children, Zachary and Sydney and Todd (Becky) Sloniker and their children, Jacob and Maddison; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Uremovic was born in Rockdale, a life time resident of Joliet, IL. Joseph was employed and retired from Local #422 Plumbers and Fitters, after 45 years of service. Served in World War II in the African/European Theater from 1943 to 1946. Member of Saint Cyril and Methodius Church, a life time member of Joliet East Side Club. Former baseball player with Moran A.C. 1942, Irving Club Champions of 1948, also had a tryout with the Chicago Cubs. Memorials to Illinois Veteran's Home, Manteno, IL.
