Joseph Staniszewski

Joseph Staniszewski, age 56, died after a brave battle with cancer on Friday, September 12, 2014.

Joseph is survived by his wife and partner, Wendy Staniszewski (nee Jenco); daughter, Katie; brother, Dan (Jan) Staniszewski; sister, Lynn (Dave) Siefert; and mother-in-law, Lois Jenco (nee Weaver). A cherished brother-in-law to: John (Susan) Jenco, Jeff (Carmen) Jenco, Amy (Michael) Bettis, and Melissa (Bill) Meier. One of a kind uncle to: Steve (Stephanie) Millsaps, Mark (Jackie) Siefert, Joe, Johnny, and Christopher Jenco, John Harrison and Ruby Jenco, Ben, Tim, and Abbey Bettis, C.J. and Nicholas Meier. Great uncle to: Mya and Madison Millsaps and Maddux and Banks Siefert.

Preceded in death by parents, Dan and Josephine (nee Zivaly) Staniszewski; father-in-law, John Jenco; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Thank you to family, friends, and neighbors for your prayers and support during Joe's illness, including Joe's Cherry Logistics family and especially Joliet Area Community Hospice for their end-of-life care for Joe.

In lieu of flowers Joe's family would appreciate donations towards Katie's college education, family expenses, or a donation to Joliet Area Community Hospice.

A Celebration of Joseph's life will begin on Saturday, September 20, 2014 with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435. A service will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Fr. John Klein officiating. Per Joseph's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
