Joseph Edward Sieracki, age 81, at rest on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jane (nee Packley); children, Francis (Penny) Sieracki and Emily (Jeff) Meader; grandchildren, Kiley and Kenzie Sieracki; siblings, James (Margo) Sieracki and Rose (David) White; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Theresa (nee Gerat) Sieracki; siblings, William Sieracki and Mary (Richard) Welch.
Joseph was born in Joliet and raised on the east side. He greatly enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time cruising in his 1963 Austin Healey 3000. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and a member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield. His grandchildren and grand dogs were the light of his life and he loved to spend time with them. Joseph was one of the most generous giving human beings and never forgot his roots or where he was raised. He was a 1956 graduate of Joliet Catholic High School and was a lifelong Hilltopper supporter. Joseph was an avid Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan. He found joy in the simple things; spending the morning on the golf course, going home to mow the lawn and finishing the day with a scotch and water and a cigar was the perfect day. He will be truly missed.
In 1970 Joseph, along with his partner, Ron Rutkowski, began their electronic distribution business. He and Ron successfully ran and grew the business located in Elk Grove Village to this day.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s name to St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield would be appreciated.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at a later date. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. An updated obituary will run to announce services once they are planned.
