Joseph Lynn Pillion ""Lynn"" Age 87. At rest Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home in Joliet. Loving father of Robert (Arla) of Lafayette, LA, Raymond (Linda) Pillion of Irving, TX, Rita (Raymond) Slattery of Joliet, Richard Pillion and Mary Ann (Robert) Leasure both of Morris. Dearest grandfather of Michael, Susanne (Mark), Gerald (Stephanie), Thomas (Kimberly), Clayton (Cydnie), Bradford (Sandi), Christina, Shenon (Michael), Erin (Riccardo), Timothy, Scott and Brett; and 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (late Herbert) Atchison and Ann (Ralph) Dufour; one sister-in-law, Marilyn (late John) Kuhn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by two infant sons, Joseph and William Pillion; his parents, Thomas S. and Louise (nee Schomas) Pillion; a sister, Sr. Marie Pillion R.S.M.; and a brother, John Kuhn. Joseph was born in Ottawa, IL and has resided in Joliet since 1940. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. Badge # 68, after 34 years of service as a Millwright. A member of; Joliet Moose Lodge # 300, Knights of Columbus #4400, the Machinist Union, an Usher for the Church of St. Jude since 1954. Joseph also worked for the Joliet Park District as a Park Police Officer. In lieu of Flowers, contributions in his name, to the Easter Seals Foundation or the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
