Joseph A. Mitok, Jr., age 58, of Joliet, passed away peacefully at his home on January 11, 2013. Survived by his sons, Joseph A. Mitok, III and Matthew R. Mitok; sister, Joann M. Mitok.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Mitok, Sr. (1974) and Anna M. Mitok (1990).
Joe retired in 2008 from Comcast after 32 years of employment. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with his sons and caring for his dog, Rusty. He helped his family routinely, always keeping things together with his unique ability to analyze any situation and find a solution. He could fix anything at all, be it a minor repair or a complex issue. He amazed his family many times with his A�??geniusA�?i��.
A Celebration of JoeA�??s life will begin on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10:00 am with a funeral service at the funeral home chapel. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
