Survived by his loving wife of 69 years Rose M (nee Pasdertz) Marentic, two sons Joseph and Thomas (Pat) Marentic, granddaughters Jayme and Jen, three sisters and one brother. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Born in Joliet life long resident. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. and Mary Marentic, three sisters and one brother. Retired from US Steel in 1975 after 39 years of service. Member St. Joseph Holy Name Society.
