Joseph R. Lilek

Joseph R. Lilek, age 76, passed away March 28, 2010 at home with his family by his side.

He is survived by his son, Cary, and his daughter Patricia (Steven) Thompson, both of Joliet. Also survived by two grandsons, Jason (Kristen) Thompson of Wilmington, and Matthew (Christine) Thompson of Crest Hill. Joe will also be greatly missed by his much-loved great-grandchildren Jeremy, Benjamin, and Tiffini Thompson. He is also survived by a sister, Patricia (Robert) Neale and a brother, Donald (Joann) Lilek, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (nee Hudek), his parents, Joseph R. Lilek, Sr. and Victoria (nee Juricic), and his brother Richard.

Donations to the American Cancer Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

A Celebration of Joe"s Life was held for his family. Entombment was at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
