Joseph C. Kropinski
August 8, 1915 — October 12, 2011
Joseph C. Kropinski, age 96, of Joliet, passed away at Provena Villa Franciscan on October 12, 2011. He is survived by his dear friend Charlotte Ligos; sister Loretta (late Alex) Wojtak and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his wife Charlotte (nee Dolasin), son Robert, parents Anton and Pauline (nee Sweda) Kropinski, brothers Walter (late Eunice) Kropinski and Edward Kropinski in WWII; sisters Catherine Kropinski, Frances (late Joseph) Verklan and Clara (late Elvyn) Planing.
Joseph retired from Northern Illinois Gas Company and Friedrich Bindery. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 382 and the Old TimerA�??s Baseball Association. He was also a regular at McDonaldA�??s in Crest Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Provena Villa Franciscan or to Joliet Area Community Hospice.

A Celebration of JosephA�??s life will begin on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 10 am at Holy Cross Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Crest Hill. Visitation will be from 9 am until the time of mass at Holy Cross Church. Arrangements entrusted to Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
