Age 90, at rest Saturday October 17, 2009 at Provena Villa Franciscan.
Survived by his devoted sister, Bertha (late Peter) Radakovich; brother, Peter (Pearl) Jokich; fond niece, Debbie (Terry Hart) Radakovich; and fond nephew, Daniel (Marcia) Kesich. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mildred (nee Klijaich); sisters, Martha (late Daniel) Kesich, Sarah and Angelina; and brothers, Michael and Lou Jokich. Joe was employed by Joliet Junior College and Ceco Steel Company and a lifelong resident of Joliet. Joe was a very active worker for the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church serving as alter boy for the Church. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Joe"s name would be appreciated.
Joseph Jokich will lie in state at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 3457 Black Road, Joliet, IL. on Tuesday October 20, 2009 from 10 am until the time of services at10:30, Very Reverend Savo Cakardic officiating. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery No funeral home visitation
