Joseph Jeretina, age 83, entered eternal life on October 19, 2014.
Joseph is survived by one sister, Sr. Franciska at the Carmelite Order in Austria; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maria (nee Dolinsek) Jeretina; sisters, Ann (Luke) Grintal and Maria Jeretina; brothers, Michael, Frank, Rev. John, and Stephan Jeretina.
Joseph was a member of St. Joseph Slovenian Catholic League, Slovenian Catholic Center in Lemont, St. Joseph Holy Name Society, KSKJ, and Baraga Association. Joseph retired from Provena St. Joseph Medical Center after 42 years of employment. After retirement, he actively volunteered his services to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet where he was a life-long parishioner. Joseph will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Donation may be made, in Joseph's name, to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet.

A Celebration of Joseph's life will begin on Saturday, October 25, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
