The Lord called Joe home to be with him to celebrate his life

and presence in Heaven.

Loving husband, devoted father and dedicated grandfather died peacefully Sunday afternoon with his family at his bedside.

Survived by his Wife of 53A�?A�A½ years, Anna M. (nee Gregorich); Children, Joseph M. (Laurie), Cheryl (Donald) Mitok, Mary Lohmar, David (Valerie), John (Terri), and Annette Jelinek; Grandfather of Emily, Rachel, Kyle, Christopher and Lisa Jelinek, DJ Mitok, Erika and Nicole Lohmar, step-grandfather of Heather (Joseph) Beatty, Nikki (Derek) Carlson; Step Great Grandfather of Ali and Ava Beatty; brother of Mary (the late Edwin) Zelko; Brother-in-law of Isabelle (Leo) Hauser, Mae (late Matt) Lewicki, Lee (late Frank) Gibbs, Gerry (late Edward) Kucinic, Joann (late Al) DiDominic; sister-in-law Mary Ann (late Dr. Carl) Gregorich; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Franz) Jelinek and his step-father, Nick Linovich; three sisters, Anne (Cory) Page, Stephanie (William) Metes, Kay (James) Feldman; two Brothers, Anton and John in infancy; Grandchild, Andrew Joseph Mitok; one Brother-in-law, Father Edmond Gregory, one Sister-in-law, Sister Marie Michelle Gregorich.

Fifty year member and Past President of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 18, Joseph was also a past President and Member of the Croatian Cultural Club. Member of the Moran AC, Moose Lodge # 300, St. Mary Nativity Holy Name and Joan-ites, Carpenters Local # 174

From where services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Nativity for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment will be held at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 pm to 8 pm.
