Joseph Huml, Jr.

Age 74 of Joliet, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.

Born October 23, 1947 in Joliet, Joseph was a son of Joseph, Sr. and Rosemary (Herman) Huml. He was raised and educated in the Joliet area and worked as a boilermaker, as well as owned and operated the Old Club Rio bar. When Joseph had free time, he loved to ride and work on his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Joseph is survived by his son: Fred Huml; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Francine (Artie) Martens; half-brother: Doyle (Arlene) Daughtery; sister-in-law: Robin (Steve) Powell and brother-in-law: Fred Thiel, as well as his dear friend: Roberta “Bertie” Volpe.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Lynette Huml; son: Joe E. Huml; parents: Joseph, Sr. and Rosemary and his beloved dog: Wolf.

Family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Interment will follow and Joseph will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Joliet.
